Overview
Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels, initially released in 1986, is the Japanese sequel to Super Mario Bros. In 2012, Nintendo published the version for its 3DS and 2DS devices. The background story of The Lost Levels is similar to its predecessor: controlling Mario or Luigi and rescuing the Princess from Bowser’s team.
Gameplay
The gameplay of The Lost Levels is a bit different from Super Mario Bros. in that it is a single-player game, and Luigi and Mario have a minor difference in control. Luigi can jump a bit higher and walk more smoothly than Mario.
► Defeat enemies by jumping on them or shooting fireballs if you get Fire Flower.
► Avoid flames and other creatures that you cannot jump on.
► Pay attention to Poison Mushrooms; they will turn a super version into a smaller one.
► The color of Poison Mushrooms matches the color of Goombas on each level.
► Be careful with Red Piranha Plants, which can attack you once you are near the pipe.
► Red Piranha Plants can be found in upside-down pipes; they cannot be defeated, so avoid these plants when the time is right.
► Random winds can blow on some levels, which can either foster your progress or hinder it.
► There are Green Super Springs, which can bounce the players out of the screen. Use them wisely and try to predict the trajectory.
► If you complete all eight worlds, a secret World 9 will be unlocked. You have one opportunity to take the challenge.
Review
After playing video games for such a long period of time, a feeling of engagement is always present: when the game got older, what was I doing? As a result, the thought occurred to me to investigate the past of the game. I wanted to know, for example, what I was up to during the era in which I wasn't playing the game. Nintendo is one of the giants in the gaming world of today that can't be ignored, and it has won countless battles in the process of transforming from a small and obscure manufacturer into a huge gaming monster. This is because Nintendo is one of the companies that created the NES, which was the first video game console. The Mario series of video games is credited for their contributions to these fights.
Super Mario Bros: The Lost Levels is a game that has previously only made a fleeting appearance in the Western Hemisphere, and I'd like to take this opportunity to expose it to you. Fans of Mario will enjoy the game's familiar appearance and feel while discovering that the gameplay has been tweaked to create a whole new challenge for them to overcome. There are not just the traditional foes that gamers from all over the world are already familiar with, but also hazards such as toxic mushrooms, reverse warp zones, and the occasional gale (which can help or hinder your progress). If that isn't enough, more experienced players can additionally explore the game in quest of hidden worlds if they want to. Prepare then to put your Mario talents to the highest test in order to rescue the princess yet again.
The gameplay of Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels is very similar to that of its predecessor, with only minor adjustments made to the game's content and level of difficulty. However, the latter aspect of the game has been altered to such a degree that many players consider it to be the most challenging installment in the series, and reviews from the gaming industry suggest that it is from this entry that the overall level of challenge in action games begins to increase sharply. Therefore, it is possible to consider this game to be an improved iteration of the preceding series; consequently, the game bears the subtitle The Lost Levels. So, what exactly are some of the new additions that come with Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels? Let me give you a brief introduction.
To begin with, the users of the game have a great deal of freedom because they are able to choose their preferred game characters in an immediate fashion. And this time around in the game, the difference between the two brothers can be more than just a difference in color. Mario can run quickly, jump short distances, and fall at very high acceleration (that is to say, fall quickly). Luigi, on the other hand, jumps high but is also very light. The choices made by the two brothers will have a significant effect on the overall development of the game. As a result, players are required to select their role in the game based on the type of gameplay they want; doing so can result in an improved gaming experience. Second, the video game Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels features several brand new sound effects, including an emergency deceleration, a spring jump, and a variety of other sounds. These vibrant and intriguing sound effects have the potential to provide players with an interesting experience and to increase the fun that can be had while playing the game.
In addition, Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels adds a piece of equipment that has left everyone very impressed. This new piece of equipment is called toxic mushrooms, and because it is not the same as the mushrooms from the original game, you must not view it as an average mushroom. Oh, and don't forget to read the instructions! Other than that, I won't go into detail about the other new features because I want you to discover them on your own. Do you still have doubts about what? Quick, get the download started with Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels!
