Mario Kart™ 8 Deluxe, released in 2017, is a go-kart racing game for the Nintendo Switch. This deluxe version designed for switch enables you to play anytime, anywhere. You can freely choose from 42 characters and 48 courses. Beginners can choose a 50cc car, but if you seek speed, you can choose a 200cc car. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is the upgraded version of the normal Wii Version of Mario Kart 8. You can probably already tell by the deluxe in the game. People make things more interesting by adding the name to certain categories, so it’s always fun to hear names like plus or Pro even in the video game market.

Ok, let’s talk about the game. Mario Kart 8 is one of the best racing kart games I have ever seen in the kart racing video game catEgory. As a big fan of the crazy racing Kartrider which is also an online Kart racing game, Mario Kart 8 fulfilled every wish I ever have on the Kart Racing video games. I still remember the old days when I sneak into my parent’s room and play Crazyracing Kartrider in particular just to have fun while school and life start crashing into my life. I remember the feelings of being proud of myself after beating every other racer in the game and the thrilling feeling of the intense racing experience.

The Mario Kart 8 Deluxe did a great job of balancing out the old elements of the general Kart racing game with the new ideologies. The graphics quite frankly is amazing while the background jazz music adds up more for the game and makes it feel more alive to the players. The online racing with friends and quick gameplay overall makes me feel like I”m back at the memories in my head but at the same time still enjoying the present day because the game is well designed and I feel relaxed at the same time thrilled while competing with others.s

There are a lot of DLCs for your download with the added contents which you can always get if you are a big fan of the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and look forward to something other than the actual main game. If you are confused with the term DLC, it means downloadable content where it’s an option for you to choose to download in addition to the original game. It’s optional and usually costs you some money to get it. I love all the characters in the game because there are a lot to choose from and the race track is so well designed with a total number of 48 of them. I’m jealous of those great minds who make video games so real and wonderful. The thing I love the most about this game is that you will come to the game without worrying about anything because every course and character and mode is offered to you at the beginning of the game. So you don’t have to go through the troubles of unlocking everything.

Some games require you to gain up to a certain level to try certain things and it always frustrates me to go with the levels. It makes me feel more like school than a video game if I have to go through all that trouble. The one additional feature that’s helpful for the newcomers is the new feature that is being added to the game which is referred to as the Smart steering and it’s like a simple tutorial for you to get behind the Welles in this game. The Super Mario 8 Deluxe was also published on Switch. As someone who possesses Switch, I enjoy the smooth gameplay with this game and the graphics look amazing enough that sometimes I feel like I’m holding a small laptop in my hands. The game offers more teamwork in this generation where you can choose to save your teammates. Overall, it's just a great game definitely worth a go.
