Overview
Developed by Camelot Software Planning and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Switch, Mario Tennis Aces is a multiplayer tennis game and is the eighth installment in the Mario Tennis series. It is released worldwide in 2018. This game features a single-player story mode, where Mario completes a series of missions in order to prevent a wicked racket from ruining the Kingdom of Bask.
Gameplay
The basic gameplay has the same rules as real-world tennis. Players hit the tennis ball back and forth on the tennis court. You win a point if your opponent does not successfully return the ball. As for this game, there are also some special shots if you use the energy gauge, an indication of the strength of each shot, wisely.
► Make sure that you are familiar with the basic shots, such as topspin, slice, flat, drop shot, and star shot.
► There are some exclusive shots that require cooperation between the energy gauge and some timing or position. For example, if the energy gauge turns yellow and you perform a shot on a rotating star point, you will perform Zone Shots, which are hard to hit back.
► Adventure Mode is the story mode. Mario needs to stop the wicked tennis racket, which is reactivated by Wario and Waluigi, from damaging the kingdom by collecting the five Power Stones.
► Tournament contains a series of matches. Players can play with computers or online players to compete for some Cups.
► In the Co-op Challenge, players play online to earn points with the other three players. The points can be used to unlock more costumes and colors of characters.
► There is a Free Play mode, in which players can choose freely what they want to play, including singles, doubles, and matches with different levels of difficulty.
► In Swing Mode, players use motion controls, instead of pressing buttons, to play.
Review
This is a game that you really must play if you enjoy both tennis and Mario. The video game that I'd like to recommend to you today is called Mario TennisTM Aces. It's a tennis-based competition game in which players take control of Mario characters. Try your hand at this exciting game if you're a fan of tennis. You have arrived in the Kingdom of Mushrooms, where you will need to engage in full-scale tennis battles and unleash an arsenal of shooting and strategy on your opponents. Playing Mario TennisTM Aces is easy; all you need to do is utilize some basic motion controls to compete against your family and friends in a series of increasingly difficult rounds of play. In addition, Mario TennisTM Aces have an adventure mode. This mode allows players to experience a new way of playing tennis by completing a variety of missions, engaging in boss battles, and other activities.
The Mario TennisTM Aces game is a lot of fun and features a lot of original content. To begin, there is a great deal of content packed into Mario TennisTM Aces. Particularly at the stages when you fight the boss. Players not only have to use tennis balls to take down the level's bosses, but they also have to use a variety of skills that they normally wouldn't use on a tennis court in order to complete the level. This makes Mario's character more distinct, and matching on tennis balls is also quite interesting and difficult. Master the action when you go through the game's adventure mode and complete the various missions and boss encounters. Players will also need to put their newly acquired talents to the test in singles or doubles competition, in addition to the tournament option that allows them to compete against the computer. Accumulate energy and then use it to perform incredible feats, such as moving quickly or making the ball fall from the first-person perspective. Your adversary may attempt to stop you, but if they are unsuccessful, their racket will be damaged, and after three strikes, it will break. You must ensure that your energy is fully charged before you may fire the ball with enough force to knock out your opponent.
The second point is that Mario TennisTM Aces is difficult. Sniping is one of the gameplay talents that players will need to become proficient at. When the player is up against certain bosses, the boss will deduct a small amount of blood each time it hits back until it has deducted an entire line of blood. After that, it will have the opportunity to snipe, and as soon as the player hits the ball to it, a heart will be deducted from the player's total. However, if the player is unsuccessful in their attempt to snipe, it will return some of the blood to help them get back up so that they can seize the opportunity to snipe, which is a very difficult task. In addition to this, players will need to practice their evading skills. In the boss bouts in Mario TennisTM Aces, there are areas to avoid skills. Players can avoid them by using the leap when they hit the ball with skill, which also allows them to raise their ki value. In the second attack of the rage state, Mario will be surrounded by furniture, but they will all be moving in the same direction to rush toward the player. Since each attack will vibrate in advance, all you have to do is pay attention to which furniture is rushing over, and you will be able to avoid it without any problems.
Mario TennisTM Aces is a game that, in my opinion, should be considered purchasing. The graphics of Mario TennisTM Aces are quite appealing, and there is a large amount of stuff to play. What are you holding out for exactly? Try your hand at Mario TennisTM Aces today!
