Super Mario Run, developed by Nintendo, is a running game for mobile devices. The game was released on iOS in 2016 and on Android in 2017. Nintendo advertises this game as a Mario game that can be played with one hand. There are four modes in the game, but it requires a purchase to play all modes. Super Mario Run has several short courses that can be finished very quickly.

There are four modes and eleven playable characters (seven if excluding Yoshi with different colors) in Super Mario Run. In the beginning, players can only play Mario, and other characters can be unlocked through different play modes.

► The character will constantly and automatically run to the right without the players’ control. The character will also automatically vault some small obstacles and enemies.

► Tap the screen to jump, and the longer you touch the screen, the higher you jump; if the character is sliding against the wall, tapping the screen will initiate a Wall Jump.

► Unlock more characters by playing different modes. For example, unlock Yoshi if you can recruit 30 Red Toads and 30 Yellow Toads in Toad Rally.

► World Tour: clear all stages to rescue (i.e., unlock) Princess Peach. You can switch to Easy Mode if you find a course too difficult.

► Toad Rally: collect as many coins and Toads as possible within 60 seconds. Attract Toads by performing some stylish actions, such as wall jumping at least twice, or by collecting special items such as a Pink Coin.

► Kingdom Builder: use coins to buy some buildings and place them in your kingdom. Some characters require certain houses to unlock. For example, to unlock Yoshi, you need to build Yoshi’s House.

► Remix 10: play through ten short, consecutive courses and unlock Princess Daisy. At the end of each session, there is a bonus level where you can collect new items to decorate the kingdom.

Super Mario Run is an excellent game where you will be asked to do a lot of tasks on those all-time favorite characters from the Mario Series. You will be directly controlling them and you will most definitely fall in love with this stylish and attractive game after your first try. The gameplay is generally simple and you can even play it with your bare hand if you feel like it or if you are good enough.

The new moves and different well-designed levels of challenges make this game more enjoyable than ever. Oh also, if you are the biggest fan of the Mario Series but you play on other platforms like a laptop or whatever. I would recommend you get a Switch or whatever best fits your need from Nintendo. I feel like the games are more compatible or weirdly look better on the Nintendo devices. So the best gameplay you will get for the Nintendo games is to play them on Nintendo devices. As someone who possesses a Nintendo Switch, I would say that the Nintendo feels way better on my Switch. It’s your choice though, so this is just a suggestion. Anyway, let’s get back to the game. So you will be an automated jogger or runner or whatever you prefer to call it. You will be asked to touch your screen to control for different actions that are right for the course.

The game requires you to have a sense of feeling of how you should dodge certain things in a certain way or you know, make Mario jump for a longer time or jump on top of an enemy. It’s pretty easy to learn and players will get the hang of it as long as they try it for a short period amount of time. But it always takes practice and is always hard for your Mario or your character to run like a professional which you can probably see on Youtube or twitch streamers. You will certainly have to go through a lot of training and you will have to experience the difficulties and get through the dangerous area to push along with the storyline and make it through stages.

One of my favorite features in the game is where the game has 5 special pink coins which you can collect and it’s super difficult to capture them since they just seem unreachable. The purple one will appear if you are fortunate enough to get all the pink ones somehow. And there will be a black set after the purple one. This is what makes this game so fun because it’s challenging the players to do something almost impossible. Nobody can get them all at a single shot unless for sure you are a pro on this game. So it requires patience and a sense of the game. This game doesn’t rush you and wants you to try things out even though they might seem unreachable. It’s sort of like life. anyway, I get frustrated when I’m like close to getting them all at one try and then fail somehow. So I will spend hours and hours just to prove to myself that I’m able to do it. It reminds me of when I was a kid trying hard to pass every mission on my PSP on the Grand theft Auto series game. I used different abilities and try to save my progress on my way just to get to the other city. So if you are persistent and a hardcore gamer. This game is right for you without a question.

Overall I love the game and the thrill and the excitement the game provides me make me feel like a kid with dreams again!
