Overview
Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit™ is a hybrid mix of the traditional Mario kart racing video game and a physical remote control toy car. You use the Nintendo Switch to control a real physical toy car around tracks set up in your own home. There is a camera on the toy car, so you can view the course. The real-world track is overlaid with the 3D item boxes and players in the traditional video game.
Gameplay
The experience of playing this game is unique because the space in your own home is the track (so your pet may become a huge obstacle).
► The first step is to set up the track at home: each course is set up by placing the four cardboard gates to mark the track, but any turns along the way are up to you. Small rooms may not go well, so make sure you have enough space to set up the track.
► The kart is connected to the Nintendo Switch through wifi, so it is recommended that your device is less than 5 meters away from the kart. Poor wifi connection can cause some problems.
► If your friends happen to have a Switch and a Mario kart or a Luigi kart, you can play with up to three friends.
► You can choose from different environments (e.g., rainy or windy environments) to make the track more exciting.
► Use classic items (e.g., banana peels, green shells) to help you get the first place.
► Unlock more gate appearances (e.g., Piranha Plant gate) by competing for more cups.
Review
Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit is a great game that will capture your attention shortly after you play it for the first time. The game is a lovely and cute game in general that will make you laugh and feel relaxed at the same time. It’s a game worth playing because it will bring back your memories shortly after you play for a while. Because it’s the pure spirit of competing and fun.
The game provides players with infinite fun of driving a Kart in a video game and the game provides players with familiar Mario characters s from the whole Mario Series. The graphics in the game is great and the overall gameplay is smooth. You can throw banana peels to make your opponents go slower during the course and have a good time watching them suffer through. You will probably experiment with the “kind little tricks” from other players who are trying to slow you down. It’s always fun to do such interactive things in the Kart racing game because it’s not about the completion of the track but more like an interactive way to your opponents and have a good time at the same time while trying to race to the destination at the same time.
The Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit is a collective mix of all the other traditional Mario Kart games series. So if this is your first time trying the game, you will be surprised with all the elements from the game are actually from certain generations. If you are a big Nintendo fan or just simply a big Mario fan, you would undoubtedly love the game more than any other generation of the games, because this generation provides a small pack of all the games you love. This game is published on Switch so good news to those who bought Switch I tried the game on my Switch since why not? You can view your Karts in different camera views to check out the car’s nice actions. I don’t necessarily remember the details of the Kart racing game that I used to play while I was still a kid. But I remember the feature of which I can’t switch my camera view but I’ve always been a big of the third person’s view because it’s simply less dizzy and my driving skill is also considerably better at this scenario at car racing video games. So I love the flexibility the game offers to the players.
I like how simple the process is of setting up the game and quickly getting the hang of it. It’s friendly for kids at a young age to try out this game because of how easy it is. I started setting up my game using one of the features the game players’ discussed the most which is the QR code. So you can simply scan the QR code using the kart’s camera on your screen to learn all the basic controls you will ever need in the game. This reminds me of how I love modern-day technology and I’m glad the game adapts this sort of cool feature in their game to make it more convenient and useful for the players. It’s like the developers do care about how the players feel and how they want the players to have a good time in the world they created.
Overall, this game is most unquestionably fun and delightful to play. If you never tried this kind of Kart racing game, I would recommend you give a shot at the Mario Kart live: Home Circuit because it will show you everything you need to know in this generation from a Kart racing game!
