Overview
Mario Party: The Top 100 is the fifth installment in the series of Mario Party games developed by NDcube and published by Nintendo in November 2017. Additionally, it was the last Mario Party game for the Nintendo 3DS series of systems. It contains 100 mini-games taken from the home console entry, and as such, these mini-games were previously featured in the previous Mario Party series. But most of these mini-games have been updated and improved visually.
Mario Party: The Top 100 supports multiplayer for up to four players and features a variety of game modes, including Minigame Match and Free Mode, among others. In Minigame Match, the player's goal is to collect more coins and stars and take turns moving on a game board. The mini-game island lets players play pre-selected mini-games and follow a linear path. In Free Mode, players can choose which mini-games to play. Additionally, 41 of all the mini-games in Mario Party: The Top 100 must be unlocked through the mini-game island first.
Gameplay
Right from the start, players can jump right into free mode and play any minigame they want, with the option to sort 100 minigames by series, combat type, and genre so players can more easily find what they like to game. But not all 100 minigames can be played by players from the start, and some are locked behind a game mode called Minigame Island. Only players unlock the walls of these 40 or so mini-games to play.
► Every time a player loses a minigame, they lose a life. When a player loses a life, they start over from the "midpoint" of the last island they were on.
► Each minigame has a three-star completion rating, and when players want a high score, they inevitably go back and try to complete it.
► In the Battle of Champions, players will participate in three to five minigames, and the player who wins the most minigames wins the battle.
► In the Decathlon, players will compete in five to ten mini-games to try to get the highest score. Earn more points based on where the player completes.
Review
In this day and age of fast food, many people are unwilling to leave their homes and engage in social interaction. Instead, they choose to play video games and watch dramas on their mobile devices at home. Why is this the case? To begin, most individuals in today's world have jobs that keep them extremely busy, and when they get home from work, all they want to do is lie on the couch and fiddle with their mobile devices rather than go out to hang out with their friends. Second, the advancement of smartphone technology is getting better all the time, and there are more and more functionalities being added to them. It is not necessary for people to go out in order to participate in numerous forms of entertainment that can be done on the phone, such as viewing dramas, browsing the Internet, or conversing with other people.
In addition, a lot of individuals are going to think that the party is not as much fun as being at home, and even that it is not as cheerful as when they are at home by themselves playing with their phones. However, if people do not go out and socialize in person with their pals, they will just continue to isolate themselves more and more as time passes. In addition to this, being inside for an extended period of time can cause various issues with one's physical health. Try out this game if you're concerned about not having anything fun to do with your buddies when you get together.
