Mario Bros is a classic arcade game initially released in 1983 by Nintendo. In 2014, Nintendo released a version for its 3DS and 2DS device. Mario and Luigi encounter some strange creatures while doing some plumbing. You need to help them avoid being attacked by the creatures while collecting coins and points.

The overall goal of this game is to clear each stage by collecting coins and avoiding attacks. There are in total 99 stages in Mario Bros.

► Defeat all enemies to clear a stage.

► Kill the enemy in two steps:

   - Jumping up and butting the floor where the enemy is on, which flips the enemy

   - Then kicks the enemy away

► The POW block can generate an earthquake and flip every enemy on the screen. It can be used three times.

► Crabs are harder to defeat. You need to hit them twice before kicking them away.

► Flies can fly, and when they are flying, you are unable to hit them. Hit flies when they are on the floor.

► Be careful with ice creatures, they can make the floor very slippery.

► Pay attention to dodge the fireballs, they can bounce. You can defeat them by using the POW block or by hitting the floor beneath them.

► A Koopa Troopa can be stomped but cannot be defeated. Its shells cannot defeat enemies.

Mario Bros is a republished game from Nintendo in 2014. In the game, Mario and Luigi will be doing underground plumbing which if you are a fan of the Mario Series already knew that all the town brothers do is pretty much plumbing in different generations of the game. And in the game, you will be facing a crazy feature that can fly out of pipes to threaten you guys. It’s just an amazing old-school arcade game and I will elaborate on the specific details in the next few paragraphs.

You will have to play as the characters of the twin brothers Mario and Luigi to pass through different levels of challenges. And your main goal in the game besides trying to get through the challenge is to collect as many coins as possible while at the same time avoiding your enemies of course. The more coins you collect on your way the higher score you will get. There are just full of adventures in this generation in which you think you are clear with enemies and somehow there will always be more to harass you on your way to great success. This game also allows you to play with your friends or play by yourself which is totally up to you so make up your mind before starting! I appreciate the option to do that because sometimes I play the games solo which means I don’t normally play with a lot of people. But now since I haven’t been that crazy in the video games industry but still paying close attention to everything, I feel like the video games experience I need from games now is to have someone to have a good time with me. I’m surprised how the game was released in 2014 but originally made in 1984 can provide this feature.

This is just an all-time classic that is definitely worth your every second and every penny. Personally speaking, I don’t necessarily like the graphics the game has for a 2014 game but I do understand this is a republished version just to get the attention who are the fans of the original series and generations. I like the idea of publishing old things and bringing the oldest memories and feelings back to people especially from childhood cause it’s such a heartwarming move and it’s always excellent to see someone enjoys the old time when they still can. Okay, back to the graphics, I like the old-fashioned feelings but seeing how realistic nowadays games can make me less attracted to the older generations of games it’s just a personal perspective. The game plays smoothly and still feels like a legend. I love seeing Luigi and Mario spend time together and play as a team. The background music and audio effects are the most famous sounds you will ever hear in the video games world. It’s always nice to play a game that’s every beat of the process matches the oldest classic segments of sounds.

Overall, this game is great if you always wanted to go back to the old times and bring back to the oldest childhood pieces back to life. And if you are a big fan of the Mario series but never had a chance to try out this either because you weren’t born or just never got a chance, I would recommend trying it out since it’s not that expensive and will bring the oldest development details and spirits Nintendo has. But if you are new to the adventurous side-scrolling game series, this game might be your best place to go because there are undoubtedly better graphics and better-told storylines.
